Strategy Demonstration: COE Comparison Questions

Strategy Demonstration: COE Comparison Questions

It is logically impossible to support a comparative claim if you fail to even mention both things being compared.

For example, if a claim compares the effect of homework completion on test scores for morning students versus evening students, any answer that doesn't at least mention both of these two groups of students can be eliminated immediately.

Understanding this is helpful because:

  • It provides a quick first filter for eliminating answers

  • It prevents getting lost in complex details before checking basic requirements

  • It often eliminates wrong answers before you need to analyze intricate relationships

In the demonstration video, you'll see how this strategy helps you tackle Command of Evidence Comparison questions efficiently, accurately, and confidently.
