Unit 3.1: Digital SAT Timing
The digital SAT is divided into two main sections: Reading & Writing and Math. Students have 64 minutes to complete the Reading and Writing section and 70 minutes for the Math section, totaling 2 hours and 14 minutes. There is a 10-minute break between the Reading and Writing and Math sections.
Each section is split into two equally timed modules. Based on a student's performance on the first module, the difficulty of the second module is variable. Those who perform better on Module 1 will have a more difficult Module 2. Those who do not perform as well on Module 1 will have a less difficult Module 2. Your goal should be to reach the more difficult version of Module 2, as otherwise your potential score is "capped."
